Movember is a worldwide challenge whose goal is to change the face of men's health and help fund programs working to improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues.
How do you do that ? You do that one Moustache at a time.
As the Rowing Canadian Team we decided to be part of the challenge. Challenge means « competition » and we decided to compete against Rowing Australia in order to raise as much money as we could. A month of growing Moustaches later, it is time to draw up the balance sheet.
In total, we have raised 9970 $ almost 10k !
5362 $ for Rowing Canada and 4608$ for Rowing Australia. A good battle until the finish line. 4 days ago, we were behind the Aussies by 100$. Happy to « beat » our Australian fellows but happier that together we raised 10 000$. Well done to both teams and to all the Mo'Bros who grew some nice Moustaches. Thanks to everyone who donated. Awesome job. We can all be proud of helping that cause and raising so much money.
Next challenge with the Aussie Team will be on the water next spring...
